Here we go again!
I figure I'd better let everybody know, because my mom's been spreading the word anyway! (even though it's a bit early) Well... baby number 3 is on the way! I'm actually really excited about this one because it is the first baby that has come planned...well...sortof anyway. I actually wanted to be pregnant a few months ago for scheduling reasons with dallas being in pocatello for school, but it didn't work out that way. I was actually getting worried because the other two were "unplanned" and this one was taking me longer to get pregnant. I know a few months doesn't sound like a long time, but when I was pregnant with Brayden I found out that I may have endometriosis and was told I'd have a hard time getting pregnant ( at the time i thought... yeah right!) So, I was worried that 2 would be the final number. So, I feel incredibly blessed to announce this pregnancy! My sisters-in-law (Taralee and Rose) just had baby boys a day apart! So, now I'm really ready for this baby to come! I haven't gone to the doctor yet so I'm only a month along... i'll let you all know the actual due date after the doctor visit.
Thanksgiving in St. George
We spent Thanksgiving in St. George where Dallas' grandparents live. We went with his mom and dad in the suburban. The boys actually did pretty well with the long drive. Hyrum had his movies to entertain him and we had lots of snacks. It was fun to actually meet Dallas' grandparents. Dallas' mom and I went and did black friday shopping. We started at Kohl's and one waited in the hour long check-out line while the other shopped and then we would swap. Worked-out good. Then we went to Office Max real quick and then on to JC Penny. So, we weren't too crazy of shoppers, but it was fun. Here is a video of how Brayden kept kicking his leg to stay awake:
Brayden's B-day
I was sick the week of Brayden's birthday, so we didn't celebrate it until a week after! He didn't mind.;o) He actually ate the cake and loved it! He's such a goober. He's a very determined, mischevious little boy. He'll go to the tv to push some buttons and look to see if i'm watching then look back at the tv, back at me (with a smile now) and then start pushing buttons! Little stinker! We also discovered that he is allergic to eggs and I'm definitely thinking milk too. I started giving it to him slowly and the next day he had diarrhea, same thing happened when i tried introducing it again once the first round of diarrhea ended. So, we'll be making a trip to see the doctor one of these days. Anyway, we just love him and he is so fun!
Halloween... a little late!

New Hair... again!

I already said that I cut my hair in Seattle...well...now I've dyed it AGAIN! the same color as last time, which I LOVE! However, last time I had Rose to help...this time I had Dallas! AAAAAAAAHHHH!!! I know...scary! I'd ask him if he saw any missed spots and he would say "I guess not" drove me nuts! From now on...Rose will help me, not Dallas. ;o)
I know I'm weird!

SO..... After going to Kyan's wedding, I really wanted to get "married" again to Dallas. So, a few days after I got home I convinced dallas to play my game. We got in our wedding attire (can't find my vale!!! sad) and watched the video recording of us coming out of the temple. I was certain that there was no way I could ever fit into that dress again!! Well... i couldn't ;op I was surprised that my arms still fit in though! ;o) hehe. So I just zipped it as much as possible and then dallas safety pinned the top. Dallas doesn't fit too good into his suit either! ha! *sigh* anyway I thought the rest of you would get a kick out of this.

Washington!!!
Erika and I made it back from Washington on Monday afternoon. We had a TON of fun...here's the trip details: Thursday....we left around 8am to go to Amber's house. We got a little side-tracked by a "chocolate factory" sign and some outlet malls. ;O)

When we got to Amber's house we were going to jump out of a box at her (in memory of some college fun) but it turns out businesses just don't keep their boxes anymore..that big anyway. So this is a video of what we did instead. (i had amber's snowboard while she was on her mission...that's what we put on the door step)
Friday...we drove to Seattle and did some sight-seeing...let's just say every where we went people said "you're not from around here...are you?" I guess we stuck-out like a sore thumb! The mountains were beautiful! On the drive Amber read to us from "Mars and Venus on a date" it was very interesting...especially since i'm already married.
We stayed at Erika's old youngwomen's president's house while we were in seattle. They have 2 hilarious children that put on "performances" for us. So fun! Saturday... we went to Pikes Market which I would have to say was our funnest touristy thing we did.
The flowers were gorgeous. We had a funny thing happen too. We were waiting at a crosswalk and some guy ran a red light (slowly) and this older lady stood in the road flagging him down, telling him to stop. Then she slammed her hand on the hood of his car! So, the guy rolled down his window and kept yelling, "lady! you don't touch my car!" he kept yelling it even when she was a block away. pretty funny. Later that day we went to the temple and met Kyan, who was waiting for Rose to show up to do some pictures before the wedding.
Erika, Amber and I did a session at the temple and then met the wedding crowd outside after. Rose seems absolutely perfect for Kyan....very pretty AND funny.
During pictures we had to keep flagging down kyan to get his attention because he kept putting his hand on her neck and it looked really weird for pictures. He eventually got the "sign language" and put it around her waist. Between the wedding and the reception we went and got my hair cut!!! chopped off the nasty mullet that was forming from the last hair cut. Now it is an A-line and I really like it. Now all I need to do is dye it again. That night we went to the reception and met Ashley. She is a friend that Kyan found when he lived in SLC. It's no wonder they are friends!!! She would have fit in with the 206 girls for sure.
We laughed about how similar Kyan STILL is....always calling to go shopping and then there is the process of purchasing a car. Several trips to the dealer to look at it (remember this girls!?) and then the random car honking in the driveway for a ride in the newly purchased vehicle. Well, it turns out he did the same thing when he bought his Lexus...only Ashley was the friend instead of the 206 girls. It was pretty funny. The reception was a lot of fun and Kyan was just beaming!
Sunday we drove back to Amber's for church. While there, her dad graciously announced that i was married. ;o) Also, Amber's mom kept calling her dad this (what seemed to be) random name! Turns-out it was his real first name, but I decided I'm going to start calling Dallas by a random name...instead of honey! what do you think? Just before bed we played the all-time amber game of assigning a question to a different color of skittle (in this case m&m). It was fun telling old memories... highs and lows of the weekend (i'd forgotten that tradition!). It really was so fun to see amber again! To those of you who are wondering the details of amber, here you go!
*She is still as silly as ever
*Something new: she's very concerned about safety-watching out for someone who might steal something, etc. (comes from her mission)
*She looks EXACTLY the same! No mission pounds for this woman! ;o)
OH! and we watched "the video" with her parents....yes emily!! we did. ;o) It really was a fabulous weekend with my old roommates! I just love those girls. The rest of you were greatly missed! The only bad thing was that Hyrum got sick and puked at 4:30am (on dallas' watch) and then Dallas got sick the day i came home and brayden later that night...so....now it is my turn. Today I had stomach cramps and other undelightful symptoms of the flu. However, it's been a 24hr thing for the rest of the crew, so hopefully it'll be the same for me!

Just some random stuff

Crazy thing happened Friday morning! Dallas was getting ready to leave for school and he came back into our room at 6:30am and said, "Cecilia...there's a car parked in our yard. should i call the police or can you?" AAAHHH!!! So, I jumped out of bed and sure enough there was a Blazer in our backyard. Not in the middle of the yard, but definitely not just pulled off to the side of the road. Dallas left for school and I called the police. While I was describing the car (as best I could at a dark 6:30am)the lights turned on and they drove off. So, I got off the phone and once it was light out, I went outside to see if there was any damage to the lawn and I saw it parked in our neighbor down the road's driveway!! So, I called the police again and they were supposed to come and check it out...but never did! And I haven't seen it since. Crazy huh?
Let's see...what else has been going on??? Dallas and I went to Rich Dad Poor Dad class and it was really good. I highly recommend everyone to take it! There really just hasn't been much happening...which is why I haven't updated my blog! oh well... i'll toss some fun pics of the boys on and call it good.

Happy B-Day Dallas
Happy B-day to Dallas (yesterday)! He's officially joined me in the "true" adult age of 25! (yes... i am older....by a month!) I say "true" adult age, because even though you're married and have a couple of kids you cannot rent a car until that magic number 25! anyway... Dallas has been very busy with commuting to Pocatello for school full-time and also squeezing in 30 hours of work! He gets those 30 hours in just a few days too! So... he often pulls an all-nighter. Poor GUY!!! I feel pretty bad for him, but I am grateful that he is willing to make those sacrifices for our family. For his birthday the boys and i jumped on him in bed (after sleeping in...only an hour extra, but it works)and gave him his gift-all the Harry Potter movies, his rediculous "cop" sunglasses that he loves, and some swedish fish. We also let him eat breakfast in bed. For dinner I made him a "phillipino" dinner (pretty tastey i might add). I think he had a pretty good birthday! ;o) Sorry the slideshow is pretty lame... i'm limited on the pics i have and didn't realize it! Let's see...here are some fun facts about Dallas...
*His favorite food is Tacos.
*He's still a little kid when it comes to BMX biking and Snowboarding. He just built a little jump in our backyard.
*He's actually a really good cook! He can just whip something up and it tastes great!
*He loves his job...well the people more than the work.
*He dreams about the Pillipines ALL the time... someday he'll get to go back. ;o)
*He rarely brushes his teeth... just because he forgets!
*He actually watched Anne of Green Gables with me and liked the 1st movie.
*He and his brother, Tyrell can still spend hours talking to eachother (if they had that much time!)
Anyway... to those of you that knew Dallas back in the akward teenage years... what do you remember about him? Any good stories!? The rest of you may share as well... don't want to exclude anyone from the fun!

Hyrum's 2yr B-day
Hyrum turned two last saturday!Hyrum has brought us a lot of laughter and we're so greatful to have him! It seems like such a long time ago that we were going to Primary children's hospital 1x a month and dealing with surgeries for his cleft! He still has one left... a bone graft for the gumline when he is 6. But, I can at least pretend we are done! Hyrum is a very "opinionated" child (that's what we like to call it). He knows EXACTLY what he wants! If he wants a movie... it's a specific movie! Cereal...a specific kind. I even have to let him pick his shirt because he gets mad if it's not the one he had in mind! ;o) you get the picture! He definitely has a temper to match his hair, but he is also such a sweet little boy. he gives me kisses and hugs, snuggles at night. He'll even play nicely with brayden so that i can take a nap! I often think about how if we'd lived in "pioneer days" hyrum would not have made it! Most of you know his birth story, but here it is anyway! My water broke at 36 weeks (a month early). But delivery went fine and he was a 7lb 4oz baby! However, upon delivery we discovered he had a cleft lip and pallate... not such a big deal... i was at least familiar with clefts and new it was fixable. He also had a hole in his lung, so they quickly took him away from me and he was hooked up to a bunch of stuff in the special care nursery. On our last day there, the air that was escaping his lung caused his lung to collapse. We were life flighted to PCMC in Utah and stayed there for a week. I feel like it was an out-of-body experience. But, he got better quickly and we came home with no more problems (other than normal cleft issues). I am so thankful for the technology we have!

hyrum at beach
sadly, i think this is the only video we got of us at the beach! maybe my siblings got more though!

Trip to Georgia
We got back a week ago from our tip to Georgia to see my mom's side of the family. Here's what we did!
DAY 1 (Thursday)The first couple of days we spent with family.
It was fun to see my grandma and the cousins. (pictures at gma's)

Right when we got to Augusta we went to this crazy pork restaurant (Scanyers) that my mom LOVES! (pictures to come)It has a pig head hanging on the wall and when i was younger i was told that all the metal stuff hanging from the ceiling was all the pig slaughtering tools. Basically it made me want to barf to eat there! ;o) So, thurs. we had our first taste of"southern barbeque"

Hyrum loved playing on this fun bouncing horse.
We also went to the South Carlolina border so that my brother-in-law, kyle could get a pic of the SC and GA signs.
We also did some fishing in my uncle's stream with some bread. Of course i had to prove my fishing skills and went for the no bait approach.... and i caught one!(pic to come)

That night we had a big family party and my uncle's company catered and guess what we had.... more barbeque and hash. What is hash you may be asking... well it looks like dog barf poured on rice. we took a picture for all of you who have never been to the south.(it's the light brown/reddish blob at the bottom of the plate)

DAY 3 (Saturday) In the morning we headed to the beach house. After about an hour of driving my parents lost a tire! This also happened to them on their long drive from Nebraska to Georgia!

They knew the other tires were bad, but when they called the rental agency with the first blown tire , the rental guy said he wouldn't pay to get 4 new tires.... needless to say they called him again and got all 4 tires replaced! The funny thing was name of the rental place was "rent-a-wreck"! HA@! It was saturday, so NO tire places were open. We pulled up to Goodyear and they said, "we closed 5 minutes ago." so we asked if any other places were open on saturdays... they said no! Can you believe it! So, they drove on the donut the rest of the way! That night we went for a walk along the beach and my brother caught a crab, and I saw a little jellyfish glowing in the water. pretty cool.

Day5-7 (Mon-Wed)In the mornings we would go out when the tide was low and you could dig your toes in the sand and bring up sand dollars and sea shells. we found a lot and i brought some home to glue to a picture frame. then i can put a pic of all of us at the beach (if one got taken of all of us! oops). While we were there we went on a dolphin tour and actually got to see a lot of dolphin... too bad the camera and my reflexes aren't fast enough to catch a picture of them! But we did get some video and a few pictures of fins. oh well.

If there is ever a place to stand in line, there is also these things that spray mist. Hyrum loved just standing in front of one of them while we waited to get on the boat.
We also went to the movie, "Dark Knight". Freaked me out! Especially with the whole Heath Ledger going crazy thing! I can see why. He just scared me every time he was on! The only bad thing about the trip was the jelly fish!
Because the water is warm (which made it even more fun) it attracted the jelly fish. My little bro. got stung a few times, a couple of sisters got stung, dallas got stung, and i got stung. It had started to rain and dallas got stung. I said i was going back to the beach house so i wouldn't get stung. he said, "it's not that bad! you'll be ok. the sting goes away fast." so... i went in. not 5 min. later i got attacked! i felt a sting on my ankle, so i kicked. well... apparently i kicked it up at my arm. another sting. then i started jumping around (in a freaking-out sort of way) and got stung on my knee, other ancle/leg, and my thigh. so i ran out of the water. I did as told and rubbed wet sand around, but the life guards had just left, so i couldn't get any spray from them. I started to head home when i saw some lifeguards. I flagged them down and they sprayed me and asked why i was hugging the jelly fish. ;o) ha! apparently i got stung worse than dallas and my stinging lasted a few hours. Well.... after being home for a week they flared up again and it felt like i had just gotten stung AGAIN! So, i got some cream from the DR. that is slowly helping.
While we were in GA, dallas decided to buy a skim board and ended up coming home with a raw calf. He biffed it quite a few times, but he still had fun doing it!

DAY 8 (Thurs) That night we had a little b-day party for me and hyrum. We had it a bit early so that my mom could be a part of Hyrum's b-day since she lives so far away.

DAY 9 (Friday) To end the trip we started our day of traveling (on my b-day) at 3:30am (GA time-2hrs ahead of idaho). we had a 4hr drive to the airport, 3hrs to Denver, 1 hour to Salt Lake, and then another 4hr drive to Idaho(traffict). We got home about 9:00 Idaho time! A LONG DAY! Hyrum screamed the 3hrs to denver, but did good on the second flight, because the flight attendents played with him. However... i will take that over what my parents came home to! Let's just say... the dog got in the house! ;o( Just so you know, this post will get some more pictures added because i didn't have my camera for Scanyers or the fishing... so as soon as my sister gets them to me, i will post them!
