Memories

ok... I like the idea of this game. I like to think that I leave some kind of an impression on people! (whether good or bad) So, the game is 1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn’t matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
{Leave a comment for one or both of us}
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It’s actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I’ll assume you’re playing the game and I’ll come to your blog and leave one about you.

what i've been up to!

There are some fun things i have done lately that i don't want to forget to post about! Hopefully i will see this and remember to put pictures on about them. 1st thing i missed was our 4th of july activities. We camped at Calamity campground near the Palasades Dam. It was actually REALLY pretty and the outhouses actually smelled GOOD! crazy... i know! My sisiter sara went with us. It was fun. But, i do miss my families BIG celebration... it is sad when we have to grow-up and some traditions die!
The next fun thing I did was go to GIRLS CAMP!!!!!!!!!!!Woooohooooo! I LOVE girls camp...as most of you already know! Dallas took 2 days off of work to take care of the boys, so that i could go be a teenager again! I had so much fun, and I just love the young women in our ward. They were so fun. I was worried that with only being there one day, they wouldn't get to know me and I them, but I was wrong! I told them I was only there to get babysitters, and the lowest bidder could watch my kids for me. ;o) I think they just thought i was weird! oh well. They also gave me the nickname "Jamaica". They said it was because of my last name. Say it with an accent and you will get it! ;o) That nickname was much better than the first ideas.... q-tip, and c.c. (wich is the nickname that I have spent YEARS getting rid of!) anyway... tons of fun!

family caricature

We had a fun stake pioneer day activity yesturday. One of the things they had was a lady doing caricatures... so we got one of our family. I love the sketch of Hyrum! Can you tell he wasn't sure about this lady... no smiles, just a stare. Anyway... i think it totally looks like him!
