Cooking

Hyrum helped me make cookies and I let him lick the whisk. Hopefully someday one of my kids will LOVE to cook and will take over dinners. (yeah right!)

Family picture

I tried really hard to get a picture of all four of us!!! This is the only picture we have of all of us. Someday I'll have someone... probably Kyra... take a good one of us. And yes... I chopped my hair. I've decided I don't LOVE how it looks, but I LOVE how it feels!! It's always out of my face... super light ('cause i have a TON of hair) and it's super easy to do! Blow dry the back up and toss in a little goop and i'm done. But, like I said I don't love it's look. I'm still searching for that perfect haircut!

Dallas and the Snowskate

Dallas had fun riding his snowskate off a mini cliff at the upper fields on campus. This was the second take because the first was super slow with how fluffy the snow was. And now... a word from Dallas himself:
The true place of this video was in the alaskan backcountry. I took the snowskate up there for a sweet adventure. Before this I dropped a 50 footer and landed it but the camera was out of batteries so I guess you will have to take my word for it

Anyone Miss Rexburg?

So, I really feel like it just won't stop snowing here!!!! I think these pictures will back me up. I thought I would help all of you who don't live in the "berg" anymore... remember what you are missing!
The first is a picture of my driveway:
The Second is my fence!!! If you can't tell... the snow is about a foot from the top of my fence in the WHOLE yard!!! In front of the fence is more because of the plow, but the yard is just snow that has kept falling and falling and falling and falling.... do you get my drift? HA! ;O)

The Third is... can you guess? Our CAR!!! No, we don't drive it... it has a lot of electrical issues, but anyway, between the plow and just the snowfall our car is pretty burried!Anyway... I hope this reminds you of the good old days of living in Rexburg!

Krya's Pregnant!!

I know many of you know my dear, dear friend Kyra!!! Well, she's not so good at letting people know her big news, so I told her I was going to put her on my blog so that everyone could know!! She is due the end of April and is expecting a baby boy.... we like baby boys!!!! So, if you are an angry, uninformed friend ;o) (J/K)... forgive the Standard News journalist (Kyra) and give her a call.

Brayden's Mullet

We finally decided to give Brayden his first haircut a few weeks ago. He was starting to get the nasty bald spot, so we buzzed him... but first Dallas HAD to give him a mullet!

Christmas in Nebraska

Dallas and I took the boys to see the Eliker fam for Christmas. The day we were supposed to fly out of Idaho Falls (Christmas Eve) our flight was cancelled... fortunately the next flight out wasn't and we were able to leave!! However, it meant a LOT more time in the airport and we had to fly into Omaho instead of Lincoln. But at least we'd get there before Christmas! One aiport mishap...Hyrum had a "blow-out" and Dallas got to take care of it. ;o) He ended up giving him a bath in the sink and throwing away Hyrum's onesy. That was the only poop problem the whole trip though!
Christmas morning, even though I'm "old" ( as my sisters tell me) and married, I still woke up around 4:30am to take a peak at the presents. I think we were all up to open them before 7. Dallas and I thought it would be funny to wear footy pajamas along with the little boys. Hyrum was fun to watch open the presents even though, like most 16 mo. old kids, he lost interest very quickly.

We were in Nebraska for almost 2 weeks and Dallas and I got spoiled! My amazing family took care of the boys A LOT. Dallas and I even got to play some lazer tag with some of my siblings. Hyrum had fun sharing earphones with Alex. He just is so funny!

We made sure we took lots of pictures of Grandma with her little grand-babies. Too bad she doesn't move out west!!! *hint hint

Here's a few more pictures from the trip

Jack and Rachael have a Chincilla (however you spell that) and we had Hyrum pet it. He whimpered the whole time like he was just doing it to get it over with, but he did it anyway!

Alex took Hyrum sledding around the yard. Hyrum I would say...tolerated it.
